Paul Minehan Paul Minehan

Dip TM, CERT Clinical Sports, NZAS Accredited Member TMA

Paul’s interest in massage and passion for sport lead to an easy career choice in sports massage.  He trained for his diploma at the NZ College of Massage and began practicing in 2004.

Paul works with various sports teams and individuals on a regular basis, including the NZ All Blacks, Wellington Hurricanes, Wellington Lions, Wellington Women’s Hockey and Wellington Soccer and a multitude of other athletes.

He says massage can have a huge part to play in the recovery from sports injuries when used with appropriate physio treatment.  He believes that preventative maintenance is a fantastic tool for any one - whether you are an elite sports fanatic or a little ‘couch potato’ that sits behind a computer all day.  Without some form of alleviation (be it massage, stretching or any type of body balance exercise) people are on a slippery slope to permanent discomfort! (oh that’s harsh!).

After 20 something years of adventure racing, rugby and nightclubs, Paul appreciates the toll life takes on our bodies and happily works with people from all walks of life.  He just wants people to be happy, pain free and able to enjoy whatever passion they have for as long as they can.

Be warned though, if you are after ‘whale music’ and candles – that’s not Paul!!!!!
